Some Of the more interesting buildings on the estate
Auchmacoy HouseAuchmacoy House was completed in 1830.
It is rumoured to be the third Auchmacoy house Logie Buchan KirkThe Logie Buchan Kirk is located just off the estate to the south side of the river Ythan. It is a beautiful little church and still consecrated. There is one formal service every year in August but it is available for weddings or funerals any time and any denomination and we would be delighted for it to be used.

Logie Buchan Memorial BridgeThe Auchmacoy memorial bridge was built in 1935 and hold memorial plaques listing the fallen of the first and second world wars.
The memorial listing can be found here The DoocotThe finest dovecot of it's type in Aberdeenshire, dated 1638 and composed of a large barrel-shaped lower part, surmounted by a rectangular portion, crow-stepped, with a high ridge roof.
We are happy for anyone visit the doocot but would be grateful if you called the office before visiting as it is a protected site. |
